*** Currently Full *** I provide affirming, collaborative psychotherapy for individuals and couples. Taking a compassionate and mindful approach, I work with clients experiencing an array of emotional and relational issues including: sexuality and intimacy; identity struggles; self destructive patterns; life transitions; anger and violence; addiction and impulsivity; anxiety and depression; and the effects of abuse and trauma. I enjoy working with people to create new solutions and stories for their lives. My clients find me to be warm, honest, engaged, curious, playful, non-judgmental, and intuitive.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy. Through EFT, I partner with couples to break patterns of conflict and take back their relationship from the obstacles that stand in the way of a meaningful, satisfying bond. I am affirming of LGBT persons, couples, and families.
I focus on attachment, emotion, and interpersonal connection in therapy. I have extensive training in the treatment of the whole range of personal trauma histories including complex, developmental trauma. I am a certified EMDR practitioner and utilize EMDR often as a means of releasing and repairing past hurt and trauma.
