Many of us appear to be functioning well in life, but in reality feel like imposters, often stressed and unsatisfied in our lives and relationships. I foster the discovery of genuine peace and fulfillment through "undoing aloneness," helping clients embrace their best and worst selves, and unearthing a more self-compassionate and authentic way of being. My clients are typically individuals, seeking treatment for anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, and a wide variety of relational issues.
As an Asian-American with extensive experience living overseas, I also specialize in issues related to intercultural issues, cross-cultural adjustment, burnout, identity formation, spirituality, and grief/loss. I am also trained in EMDR (highly effective trauma therapy) and Emotionally Focused Therapy, which I use to support my overall approach.
Please note that I have relocated to Massachusetts and am only able to offer therapy via telehealth to CA residents at this time. Video therapy isn't for everyone, so I am happy to offer a free brief phone consult prior to our first session in order to ensure we are a good fit.
