About

I have worked with adults and couples in a variety of settings, including college counseling, hospital emergency room and inpatient floors, forensic inpatient, and veteran's hospitals. I have experience with both acute and long-term trauma, adjustment to life stressors, couple's distress and relationship problems, depression, anxiety, panic, personality disorders, and substance abuse problems. I have also received expert training in many forms of evidence-based psychotherapy, and am particularly well-versed in CBT, DBT, Integrative Behavioral Couple's Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
While my interests are broad, I particularly enjoy helping clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, chronic nightmares, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and relationship distress. I take pride in ensuring my clients have both the understanding and the tools necessary to enhance their own well-being.
I strive to foster a nonjudgmental, compassionate space for individuals of all backgrounds and identities. Unfortunately, my schedule is currently full and I am not taking new patients for individual therapy at the present time. Please email me for information about upcoming PAIRS workshops and attendance in my ACT for Anxiety group.

ACT for Anxiety and Trauma

**NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED** Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is aimed at helping you live a rich, full, and meaningful life. ACT works by helping you to clarify what a rich and satisfying life looks like for you, and helping you to find new ways of managing the fears, anxieties, and worries that get in the way. ACT is especially helpful for those who have already gone through treatment for their anxiety or trauma, but who continue to struggle with rebuilding their lives. The next cycle of the group will begin in summer 2021. Please visit paggeotpsychology.com to register.
