Hello! I’m glad you’re here. If you’re reading this, chances are that you’re struggling. You are not alone. My way of coping with a challenging adolescent experience was to set a rigid trajectory that left no room for self-exploration. This led me down a career path that I did not enjoy, and I wasted years grappling with this truth. Then, therapy changed my life! I learned the flexibility of mind to acknowledge what wasn’t working, and I finally gave myself permission to make a change. Soon after, I found my calling as a licensed mental health counselor working with teens and young adults.
I believe everyone has the innate drive to reach their full potential. Laziness as a character flaw does not exist. If you’re struggling to succeed, something is getting in your way. I’m here to help navigate past your personal road blocks. I will challenge your thinking patterns while helping you build the confidence to make choices that empower you.
My approach is direct; I don’t beat around the bush. However, I am easy-going and fundamentally non-judgmental. Above all, my goal is to create a feeling of safety that fosters growth. I also hold a strong belief in the healing power of humor, so be prepared for a throw-my-head-back laugh that’s loud enough to be heard from space.
