I have been working as a therapist for over 20 years and I love getting to help adolescents, teens, and adults on their journeys through self discovery and self reflection as we work together towards growth and empowerment. I want to help you find your voice and help you to be a strong advocate for yourself and what you need. Change does not have to be scary and it is never too late to take that first step.
In our first session together it will just be about getting some background information about you and what brings you to therapy. I want to get to know you and what you like to do. I believe that in order for therapy to be successful you have to establish trust and to do that you have to feel comfortable that you made the right decision with choosing me.
I have a diverse background. I studied dance movement therapy so while I don't specifically use dance now I pull from a variety of approaches in my sessions. I like to think outside of the box when giving suggestions and helping with coping skills or strategies to solve a problem.
