I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience assisting individuals with a variety of diagnoses, including PTSD/trauma, depression, anxiety, mood and adjustment disorders, couples counseling, LGBTQIA+ and gender issues, personality disorders, and psychosis. I emphasize the development of interpersonal and distress tolerance skills to help clients regulate their emotions and identify triggers that lead to negative cognitions, thought patterns, and behavioral responses. I recognize the importance of creating a positive sense of self-worth to find balance with work, family, and self-care.
I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I collaborate with my clients and adjust treatment to best meet each individual's needs. My approach integrates solution-focused reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
