My demeanor is warm, my space is welcoming and I absolutely love this work. My motivation for being a therapist is to reduce suffering in the world, and support people in their quest to live their best life. I can support you if you feel like no one else cares, no one understands, or you don’t want to be a burden on others. Maybe you don’t know what you want, but you know that “this” isn’t it. Or you don’t trust anyone else with your private thoughts and feelings. Many clients have told me “I’ve never told anyone else about that.”
Individuals....my approach is non pathologizing and that is a very important part of my approach. I counsel from my own experience, and will only take on clients if I feel like it is truly a good therapeutic fit.
Couples...if you're tired of feeling like every attempt at communication turns into a fight, I can help you break the cycle.
I prioritize establishing safety, trust and rapport. I am familiar and comfortable working with those in non-traditional relationships, careers, spiritual paths, and other non conforming life choices.
