I am a born and raised Alaskan and have been providing mental health services to individuals and families with a wide range of mental health challenges and developmental disabilities for over 20 years. I became a licensed professional counselor in 2015 and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions.
I have a particularly strong passion for working with adolescents as they navigate through the many challenges that this time in their lives brings. I use a wide range of therapy modalities, including Person Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Reality Based Therapy. My approach is person centered and strengths based.
We all deal with challenges and go through our own struggles. Sometimes it is hard to reach out and ask for help when we need it most. I believe that with the right support all individuals can thrive in their lives.
