In the eyes of others, you present as confident, successful & outgoing, but inside, you struggle with anxiety, depression and feelings of inadequacy or like an imposter. You often feel like your friends and peers seem to have it figured out, but you don't. Maintaining relationships, both romantic and platonic has been a challenge. Understanding your own needs and wants can feel trivial. You're feeling isolated, despite being surrounded. You want to feel more secure and balanced in who you are so that you can allow the world to see your authentic self.
Often times, the issues we are dealing with have multiple layers. My extensive experience working with teens and adults in diverse treatment settings has helped me develop a combination of evidence-based methods, including CBT, exposure therapy, person centered, and strength-based approaches that enhance the relationship with yourself and others.
Therapy is a powerful tool for living authentically. My goal is to help you overcome barriers that may be holding you back, whether it's depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma or other concerns. As a licensed therapist my goal is to offer you a comfortable, safe, and hopefully exciting place to place to work on you.
