Life can be overwhelming at times. With change, decisions, loss, or pain, we can feel confused, scared, depressed, or just stuck. Finding hope and courage in life to face these stressors often times feels lonely and exhausting. Joining with you in the work of interpersonal growth and change in the face of those life challenges is where I focus my work with clients. I see the therapeutic relationship as the most effective tool for increasing understanding of yourself, your relationships, and how to move toward what you most desire in life. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe and inviting of self reflection.
I work with adults of all ages and adolescents. I provide individual, family, and couples counseling- incuding premarital counseling. I have worked with clients toward managing grief and loss, various mood disorders, relationship and interpersonal challenges, grief and loss, codependance, self-esteem issues, general life adjustments, and other challenges.
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, with a particular focus on pre-marital counseling. I am also trained in trauma recovery, and am certified in Psychological First Aid.
