My ideal client is ready for some change. My ideal client is open to ideas and willing to give input. I love working with (newly coupled), pre-marital couples and with the empty-nesting couples...and everything in between. I'm also drawn to those who just want to keep a good check on their relationship as it goes. As well, I work with couples experiencing some bumps in their journey and couples navigating new life paths. I like to see people willing to try something new as Brainspotting is really taking off. I have also found that I am a good match with the 30+ crowd, especially those who are not 100% sold on therapy yet.
With my training and my own marriage under my belt as well as my children leaving the nest, I find that I can relate to many types of clients. I am a very no-nonsense therapist. I am kind, but I am really willing to challenge clients and ask the hard questions. I am also practicing my Brainspotting skills and can use it to help clients work through trauma.

I also use a mix of other popular theories like CBT, EFT, etc. I like to think of myself as a relationship translator as I am often able to clearly see both sides of most situations.
