As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.
I have a Master's degree from Capella University in Mental Health Counseling and a PhD in Psychology. My education has been fueled by an intense desire to understand human nature and then empower people to overcome their obstacles and become their best selves.
Specialization: Depression, Anxiety, Parenting, Grief, Work and Career, Stress Management, Biblical Counseling, Conflict Resolution, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology. Finally, I believe in the therapeutic nature of animals and often have my therapy dog, Brodie, in the office.
