You or your child’s anxiety and neurodiversity are getting the best of you. Other people just don't seem to understand or "get" it. You may have sensory sensitivities, rejection vulnerability, or challenges with executive function. And then if you also have experienced things like trauma or have depression or anxiety, it can feel very overwhelming. I get it, as an AuDHDer (Autism and ADHD) myself, I've dealt with this before, and I'm here to help. I’m Amy, and I’m a counselor in Buda, TX, specializing in kids, teens, and adults with histories of trauma, anxiety, and neurodiversity/ADHD.
I offer a compassionate, neuro-affirming, non-judgmental approach and often use humor when working with clients. The modalities I use are research-backed, but I won't fill our sessions with psychology jargon. I'm trained in EMDR and often use it for PTSD symptoms and to help others with any problem that might be impacting their life like anxiety or shame.
