Hi, I'm Amy - a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist dedicated to helping children and teens identify and build upon strengths to overcome challenges. I have 10 years of experience working directly with children in individual and group settings. I rely heavily on CBT, Motivational Interviewing and DBT Principles to assist clients with identifying changes they want to make in their lives. I believe firmly that the best way to help teens and children is to build a strong rapport and assist them in building confidence and enhance their skills.

I have experience working with children and teens on improving their ability tolerate negative experiences and work through difficulties by identifying supports, their natural strengths and working to expand upon coping skills. I love working with the client and their families to help improve the client’s ability to preserve.

One of the most rewarding parts of working in this field is seeing clients take the skills we’ve worked on & use them in their daily life. I love seeing how proud of themselves a client feels when they overcome a fear, achieve a goal or build more meaningful relationships.
