Suffering and difficult times can be catalysts for profound change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, or feeling stuck, you can experience a greater capacity for change, curiosity, connection, and life satisfaction. In therapy we'll address the symptoms you're experiencing, develop coping skills and tools for better living, and work to understand how you ended up where you are today. Additionally, we'll explore the root of your struggles in order to understand why you do the things you do, feel the way you do, and think the way you do as a way to create lasting change and transformation in your life.
I am trauma-trained, and work from an internal family systems (IFS) and relational psychodynamic therapeutic approach. Together we'll focus on understanding or healing your relationship with yourself, helping you identify/work with different parts of yourself, and exploring how your past relationships, influence your current experiences and relationships.
As your therapist, I'll come alongside you as a trusted witness and companion on your journey to better understand who you were created to be and what you were created to do. We'll engage the confusion, hurt, and suffering of life as a way to increase your capacity for life-giving relationships and to experience more freedom to engage life authentically.
