Being a person is hard af. That's the first thing to acknowledge when you consider reaching out for support; I promise you: everyone is struggling in some way or another, despite what their social media might suggest. Sorting through your shit and figuring out what to toss and what to keep is a journey, and you may need different things at different times. If you're at point where what you need is less "and how does that make you feel" and more "wow that sucks have you tried this other thing" - I might just be the right fit for you. I like people who want to really dig in and see what's underneath the layers you may be avoiding.
For individuals in therapy, I offer a consistent, present, kind but challenging space to see and understand your patterns (and maybe even change them). For couples in coaching, I offer a neutral, active, empathetic third party who can observe and identify your dynamics and quickly help you make progress in your connection (building or rebuilding).
I'm a direct communicator with deep empathy. You can tell me anything without fear of judgment, but you can expect honest feedback. I will understand you, quickly- my brain understands patterns. I believe in using humor and authenticity to quickly build rapport and comfort. Therapy is a relationship, not a transaction. I also teach classes and workshops.

I don't take insurance for therapy or coaching, but I do offer varying lengths of appointment time for flexibility. All rates are the same: $150 for 55 min or $225 for 90 min. Coaching can have packages and discounts, therapy can't. If this is confusing, reach out via email.

I love working with men, especially at midlife. You are at such a crucial pivotal moment; I love helping you figure out what's going on and how to be happier. I don't treat heavy-duty trauma or depression; I'm a good fit for people who are basically functioning but want to feel better. Relationships are my first love and main area of expertise, especially as relates to communication issues.

I believe most people have unique needs, so I generally do not adhere to an agenda or specific modality for session work. We will figure out together what works best for you (or your relationship) and go from there. If we try something and it doesn't work, we can try something else. If your work doesn't allow for therapy, coaching is a viable option...
