About
Change can be difficult, but often necessary. I believe it is important to realize that change is optimal when an individual is truly motivated to make the effort to grow. Therapy provides a person with empathy, encouragement and understanding on how to change negative patterns. The relationship between client and therapist is very important so that each individual can feel comfortable to be open and honest. I often focus on brain and overall health to assist with those issues that may repeatedly cause a person to feel stuck; this includes talk therapy, neurofeedback, diet and nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene and environment.
As a therapist, I believe it is my responsibility to find ways to help motivate and encourage a person when they have identified a particular behavior or thought pattern that needs to change or evolve. During therapy, it is important to create goals that both the therapist and client have agreed upon.
I welcome your pet to accompany you to your session if it is helpful in providing security and well being. Please inquire before attending your session.
