About
Currently Not Accepting New Clients. Poet Mary Oliver said "Are you breathing just a little & calling it a life?" Pursuing wellness can be hard, but discovering that living your everyday life can be experienced much differently than surviving it -makes it worth it & offers hope. Before establishing my own private practice, I worked as an independent contractor within a Christian practice. I worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for 10 yrs - pre & post graduate. I also taught as a psychology adjunct professor at Cairn University, finding significant value in the integration of both clinical & academic work.
I believe in the impact of offering a safe place designed to hear real stories from brave souls-& desire to meet you where you are in your life journey. I believe the therapeutic relationship can profoundly impact the heart, mind, body & soul. And have found something so meaningful within joining authenticity & compassion with the body/brain connection work.
Therapy is a process that embodies the discovery of unmet needs, the healing of underlying wounds, & a deeper understanding of self. The journey toward wholeness starts with a willingness to lean into discomfort. I value the shared space designed by God for listening, for connection, & for the existence of moving from suffering, toward hope, & toward life.
