Through my experience working in mental health and addiction treatment, I've adopted a style of therapy that is both direct AND empowering and supportive. My experience allows for me to be flexible in my treatment approach, ensuring that I am providing counseling services that are individualized to meet your needs. My therapy strengths are in treating addictive disorders, PTSD/complex trauma, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, and working with first responders.
I've worked with adolescents, young adults and adults in individual, family and group settings. I've gained professional experience in nearly every level of care: detox/inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment. I have vast experience in providing counseling services for those involved with the legal system (victims, offenders, and law enforcement).
Additionally, I am a certified EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapist and Approved Consultant, and EMDR Basic Training Facilitator. At this time, I am only accepting clients for EMDR Intensives. Please note that insurance cannot be billed for EMDR intensives.
