Do you worry that you are “too much” or “not enough” for others? Do you struggle to form and maintain relationships? Maybe you find yourself engaging in self-sabotaging behaviors within romantic relationships or are experiencing a consistent sense of disconnection from other people. If you are struggling with feelings of inadequacy, difficulties regulating your emotions in relationships, or frequently needing validation from others, you are not alone. Humans are biologically programmed to live in secure, trusting relationships with others. All of us have an innate need to feel safe, valued, and loved.
I help individuals gain clarity about why their relationships are the way they are. Together, we'll explore the changes that you can make to build healthier connections and achieve a higher level of emotional stability. I also work with anxiety, PTSD, men's/women's issues, teens, and couples.
The alliance between therapist and client is the single most important factor for healing and I strive to foster a welcoming and safe environment that embodies curiosity and respect. I offer free 25 minute phone consultations, so please do not hesitate to reach out! Asking for help is hard and I would be honored to speak with you about how I can assist.
