Life is incredibly confusing and messy at times! Seeking support can be the first step in gaining peace, clarity and direction. I work collaboratively with you to find stability and create a life and relationships that are authentic and fulfilling. I use a communication style that is straightforward while nonjudgmental and gentle, and love to bring lightness and humor into the process where appropriate. I teach individuals to move through the world with greater presence and connection through mindfulness and other skills. I also work with couples to create intentional practices which promote connection and healthy communication.
I am a trained sex therapist and offer a safe, confidential space to work through potentially taboo topics regarding sexuality, including issues of desire, performance anxiety, trauma, and exploration. Kink and non-monogamy affirming. I am EMDR trained and help individuals to put traumatic events to rest in order to finally move forward.
My goal as a couple's therapist is to create a supportive space in which all parties feel heard and supported, while also keeping in mind that I may challenge frameworks that are no longer working in the relationship. I may point out impacts of behavior, while always respecting your autonomy and right to live in accordance to your own values.
