I'm a licensed psychotherapist (licensed in DC, MD, VA, NJ & SC) with over 15 years of experience helping people work through trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and eating/body image concerns. My work is rooted in compassion, honesty, and authenticity, and I try to show up as my authentic self in therapy sessions. That means there are lots of feels, digging deep, being honest, confronting the tough stuff, and humor. Definitely humor. I will work collaboratively with you to establish personalized therapy goals tailored to your specific needs, and create an environment in which you feel safe, accepted, seen, heard, and never judged.
I take an integrative approach to therapy because everyone is their own person, and one size doesn't fit all. I am trained in IFS and EMDR, and incorporate skills from other frameworks to complement these modalities. My focus is to help you improve your relationship with yourself through vulnerability, acceptance, understanding, and self-compassion.
