You're here because navigating dating, desire, and relationships in these configurations is genuinely complicated, and somewhere underneath all of it you're carrying self-doubt, guilt, anxiety, and desires and worries you've never said out loud to anyone. I'm Amy Hauer, LISW-S, a kink-aware, ENM-affirming therapist and sexuality educator with nearly 30 years in sex-positive community. I didn't learn to affirm your life through a training. I came from it. Your desires are not the problem, the shame around them is.
Being in poly and kink configurations brings real joy and real complications — jealousy that doesn't go away, the exhaustion of constant negotiation, the challenges of desire discrepancies, showing up ethically for everyone, including yourself. And underneath all of it: the question of whether your relational and sexual desires are really okay. They are.
