Whether you are looking for therapy for yourself or loved one, I am glad you found me and I hope I can help you take the next steps toward health and healing. I have a combined 20+ years working with eating and mood disorders, starting out as a nutritionist and later becoming a clinical therapist. I work with tweens, teens and adults to help identify and resolve issues underlying maladaptive behaviors such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, food-mood problems, perfectionism, bullying, negative life experiences, or trauma. I also help people get unstuck and move past their struggles to find their inner-strength, passion, and purpose.
Because many mental health disorders can alter brain-body chemistry, I use a variety of modalities from a holistic viewpoint to help people feel better faster, while also working on long-term goals. This includes EMDR, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, art therapy, parent or partner coaching, and other trauma-informed care depending on the best fit for each client.
I know how hard it is to get started with a therapist for the first time or to start over with a new therapist and re-tell your life story.
