Hi, my name is Amy and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I'm passionate about helping people find clarity in the midst of confusion, heal from the wounds of the past, and move towards a healthier, value-centered life.
With extensive experience in developmental trauma, attachment theory, spiritual struggles, and family of origin issues, I provide therapeutic care that addresses the whole person- body, mind, and spirit- with space for honesty, humor, and hope.
I am a TBRI Practitioner, Adoption Competent Therapist and Certified Trauma Professional. I often use interventions from DBT, CBT, ACT, attachment-based, existential and reality therapy modalities and tailor my approach each client’s needs. My style is direct yet compassionate, with humor woven into sessions to make even the hard work feel a little lighter.
