I believe that building rapport and trust in the therapeutic relationship is paramount to the success of the work. My approach in working with individuals is person-centered. While I do utilize an eclectic blend of evidence-based techniques to address particular situations, I find that a conversational approach that allows my clients to lead the session is most effective in addressing immediate and long- term needs and goals. My ultimate aim is to help my clients build awareness and insight into their behaviors and to provide consistent support along the way as they develop a variety of skill sets to address life's many challenges.
What is most important to me is to set a safe, calm therapeutic space to begin taking those first steps towards a life of peace and fulfillment. I'm easy to talk with, which is important when we're talking about tough things.
Are you overwhelmed? Struggling to manage life, your day-to-day activities, your relationships, the needs of your family or work (or all!)? I am here to support and guide you. Life moves fast and we don't always take the time and space we need to care for ourselves. Reach out now so we can start moving you towards having a life of balance and fulfillment!
