I’m a straight ally working with adolescents, young adults, and adults around depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and pandemic-related issues. Even after more than 30 years, I remain deeply passionate about my work and continually humbled by my clients' resilience and innate strength. I especially enjoy working with young adults, women in transition, and queer or questioning folks. I encourage everyone to screen several therapists and choose the one with whom they feel most heard, respected, and safe. Please don’t settle for anything less.
I’m a mother, wife, and dog-mom who can neither whistle nor swim. I’m uber-friendly, quasi-funny, and a good therapist-though not right for everyone. We’ll get a good idea of ‘fit’ when you call. If it makes sense to meet, we’ll schedule. If not, I’ll get you to one of my gifted, trusted colleagues. Either way, kudos for looking into therapy!
