I am an EMDR trained therapist and this technique is action oriented and focuses staying present while working on past traumatic experiences. My theoretical orientation is Psychanalytical. Sometimes we don't know why we feel sad, angry or anxious and these feelings and unconscious conflicts make it difficult to be our happier, better selves. Together we can find the right treatment to empower you to find your balance, happiness and a more rewarding life.
EMDR and cognitive behavior therapy are the models of treatment I lean toward however solution focused and reality therapy and other modalities can be used to meet you where you are and what you need.
