I'm an Italian-/Irish-American, cis-, queer, always-aspiring-to-be-justice-doing, tarot-card-pulling art witch and half-assed-Buddhist who also happens to be a therapist. A professional artist, teacher and mentor of artists for almost twenty years before becoming a therapist, I offer my full authentic self (this may involve some swearing). I am a solidarity worker. This is transformative change work that values your inherent wisdom and lived experience. My work is truly affirming, rooted in the idea that unconditional love for ourselves, when combined with our innate creativity and knowing, is the strongest healing power we have.
We will collaborate on burning down all that no longer serves you in order to create fertile soil for new growth. Problems are protests– for or against something– directional arrows pointing toward the embodied life you want to create for yourself. The problems are showing up to help you get something truly wanted or needed, let’s head in that direction!
Staunchly anti-pathologizing, I aim to transform how we see and talk about what gets called mental illness. It is essential, if you want to work with me, that you are down to let go of labels, deconstruct diagnosis and create new meanings/stories that are particular to you and support unconditional self-love, and the freedom to be just as you are.
