Counseling is a collaborative process where I strive to create a safe and open environment for you to share your experiences. As we work together through the therapeutic process, we create and work toward goals that you want to achieve. We will adjust these goals to ensure that your needs are met quickly, so that you can get back to the best version of yourself.
As a counselor, I have about 6 years of clinical experience. I am licensed in NC, SC, and VA. I work with adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, PTSD, self-harm, LGBTQ+ issues, bipolar and other mood disorders. I have experience in Substance Abuse treatment and enjoy working with First Responders.
I practice through an eclectic approach and utilize Person-Centered therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and various other approaches in my practice. We will work together to find the best approach for you.
