Waitlist for new clients. Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Services Provider, who has worked in a variety of settings for almost 20 years. Amy is experienced in working with individuals who’ve experienced complex and traumatic life circumstances, as well complicated family and relationship histories. She is also experienced in working with anxiety and depression, and adjusting to life changes and stressors. She understands the complexity of these experiences and how they can impact many areas of one's life, as well as one's belief in one's self.
Amy takes a holistic approach to working with clients, meeting them where they are in life. When individuals experience chronic stress, the body and mind can move out of sync, leading to physical and emotional issues and feeling stuck. Amy's approach includes trauma-informed practices, IFS, CBT, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic work and education.
Amy believes that healing and personal growth can take place in the context of a trusting, therapeutic relationship. Amy's goal is to help individuals increase their self-awareness and insight, improve their mind-body connection, rebuild a healthy internal relationship, and become confident in their own capacity to heal and thrive. (Hours: 8am-5pm)
