About
Have you noticed unhealthy patterns in your behavior and/or in your relationships? Do you wish for a better understanding of your inner life and for more fulfilling connections with others? If so, I would be honored to partner with you on this important journey to improve your life satisfaction and overall wellbeing. I work well with clients who are self-reflective, open, honest, eager to learn and motivated to make positive changes in their lives. I can help you navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, stress and anger management, grief/loss, difficulty focusing, values clarification or conflicts with loved ones.
I use a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, journaling/creative writing, psychodynamic, and reflection on your past experiences. I am skilled at helping my clients manage depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting, intimate relationships, grief and addiction. My approach is strengths-based and tailored to your goals.
We all can use an objective person to help us process our feelings and set and achieve goals. Seeing a therapist is not the same as calling a friend for "advice." Instead, therapy helps you to recognize behaviors and thoughts that may be leading to unnecessary pain and conflict in your life. I can help you gain additional tools to thrive during hard times.
