Now offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP): In KAP treatment, the client takes a subanesthetic dose of ketamine, usually administered orally. Ketamine has been shown to boost neuroplasticity, which promotes capacity in the brain to alter rigid thinking and behavioral patterns- in other words, increasing the brain's ability to learn and change. In order to pursue KAP, we will need to meet for initial intake, you will need to meet with a prescriber and attain your ketamine prescription, and then work with me to collaborate in ketamine journeys in my office. Contact me for more information about this exciting offering.
My most often used modalities include: KAP; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Motivational Interviewing; Solution-Focused Therapy; and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); among others. I focus on identifying clients' strengths while also identifying the areas of their lives they are hoping to improve.
It takes great courage and humility to reach out to a counselor for help, and I am continually inspired to work with clients as they move toward their "best lives." I would be honored to work with YOU!
