Amy B Sparacino
Counselor, MEd, LCPC
Location
I enjoy working with clients who are experiencing various issues, including anxiety, depression, and grief among others. When counseling clients, I aim to provide a supportive, safe environment where they can feel comfortable enough to explore both their struggles and their strengths. I believe that healing begins when a person has the opportunity to be heard and understood without judgment, and continues with the use of practical steps for self-improvement and goal achievement. It is an honor to take that journey with my clients, and a pleasure to watch them grow and heal.
I have a special interest in anxiety, whether it is a longstanding, general issue or an acute fear triggered by a specific situation. When anxiety becomes too painful or problematic, a person can feel quite isolated. I enjoy helping my clients face and overcome their anxiety.
Sometimes clients that I counsel may benefit from other clinical services as well, including psychotropic medication management or psychological testing. These are also provided at our clinic and I am happy to connect my clients with other providers who can assist me in a team approach to overall wellness.
