I'm Amy Annala, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of life and achieve emotional well-being while becoming their best selves. The burdens we carry can be heavy, and there's no reason to do it alone. My background is in addiction counseling and therapy as well as working with court ordered clients with open Child Welfare cases. I typically work with clients presenting with concerns ranging anywhere from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use.
That being said, I believe no concern is too small to work through in therapy and I am invested in helping clients with all kinds of concerns. I want my clients to know that I'm in their corner. With the right mix of tough love and self-love, my clients will know they are supported without judgement.
I want my client to know I'm in their corner. I am most comfortable with a humanistic approach instead of a clinically structured method. In doing so I hope to foster an equal partnership with clients, avoiding the traditional power dynamic often associated with therapy.
