I provide therapy and sex therapy for individuals and couples experiencing difficulties with sex, relationships, and communication. I help people exploring sexual orientation, gender identity concerns, and alternative relationship structures to define who they are; people feeling compulsive about sexual desires or behaviors; people wanting to improve body image; and people with depression, anxiety, shame, and other MH issues. My approach is often cognitive-behavioral, and I utilize concepts from systems theory, psychodynamic principles, and humanistic psychology. I believe that we all have the capacity to grow and change.
With 20+ years experience in the mental health field, I have helped a variety of individuals, couples, and families to feel good about themselves, to be more honest, to find more joy in their relationships, and to move towards their potential. A nationally (AASECT) certified sex therapist, sexuality is a specialization, although I welcome all clients.
I am available to meet with you during afternoon or evening hours, Monday through Friday. I can do in-person sessions or teletherapy. My Ann Arbor office is located on Packard Street south of Stadium Boulevard, and parking is free in the back. Don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions.
