As a trained couples and family therapist, I utilize a variety of theories integrating my past experience in both the performing arts and as a yoga instructor to provide a creative, holistic experience.
I utilize affirming frameworks that: embrace LGBTQ+ identity and sex and kink positivity in monogamous or alternative relationship structures, manage negative consequences associated with drug use through a Harm Reduction paradigm, and help heal past trauma through grounding and mindfulness practices.
My practice embraces social justice and feminist informed practices that recognize the intersectionality of communities of culture and identification. Groups
Men, Sex, and Self
Many men carry an unspoken scorecard around sex, shaped by messages about what it means to be a man. Achievement-based thinking often extends far beyond the bedroom, into how men measure their worth, their relationships, and their sense of themselves. This group offers a space where self-identified men of all sexualities can explore what masculinity and sexuality actually mean to them. Through conversation and reflection, participants will move away from sex (and life) as something to accomplish, and toward something to actually experience. Please note that this is an in person group, not virtual.
