Hello, I am Dr. Benavides I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. As a psychotherapist, my role for my patients is to help them find a sense of strength and achievement, so they can better manage the difficulties they face in their daily lives. I have experience working with clients in a residential drug treatment facility, as well as in school-based and private-practice settings. Incorporating CBT into my practice allows me to assist individuals in restructuring negative thought patterns, managing overwhelming emotions, and gradually exposing themselves to feared situations.
Through this evidence-based approach, I help clients develop healthier and more adaptive coping strategies, leading to increased self-awareness, improved self-esteem, and a greater sense of overall well-being.
As a dedicated and compassionate psychotherapist, my primary focus is on empowering individuals to overcome anxiety and depression, enabling them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. In my therapeutic approach, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
