Connections are the key to life. At our most primary level, humans are wired for connection. I specialize in working on these connections and relationships through individual, couples or family work. I want to connect with you to help you feel comfortable & ready to begin working toward healing. Together, we will create a safe place to help you understand how your experiences from childhood to present have affected your thoughts, feelings and actions. Once you can see why you do the things you do I work to empower you to find new ways to build resilience to cope, communicate or connect with others.
I’ve worked with adolescents, adults and families for over 20 years, including areas like anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, trauma, relationship struggles, and parenting of biological, step, foster or adoptive children. I use my experience teaching and training on brain development and how trauma affects our actions to help you understand yourself.
I’m a wife and mother to four children, and I understand the challenges from a personal perspective, too. I focus on helping people understand themselves and build or maintain healthy connections to others in their lives.
