Amistad is El Paso's local non-profit since 1976. We offer 40 social services programs for its El Paso Community and six surrounding counties. Our specialized Military and Veterans unit provides Free professional counseling and social services to active military, veterans, and military dependents. Amistad Veterans Unit specializes in providing Individual, Family, Couples, Parenting, and Addiction Counseling. Amistad understands the importance of increasing access to our Military and Veteran families who have served regardless of when they served, their time in service, or their discharge status.
Amistad’s Veteran Services offers counseling by a Licensed Professional Counselor to Veterans, Active-Duty, and their beneficiaries who are struggling with depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, anger, substance abuse, and marriage discord. Our counseling services provides support with a Veteran Navigator and Veteran Peer Support Specialist.
