I approach each client with the belief that you know yourself better than anyone and, since you are looking for a therapist, you are ready to know yourself even more fully. You deserve a safe space to explore who you are and who you want to be. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals processing childhood developmental trauma and sexual trauma, couples trying to connect more deeply, and families working to communicate and support one another more effectively. Meeting the needs of others, while balancing your self-care and value system, can be incredibly challenging. Past trauma adds another layer to your complex life.
I use a variety of evidence-based modalities. My experience has been with helping individuals process past trauma and learn new ways of interacting with self and others. Together we can identify your value system, along with where you are living by those values and where you are not. You can experience a space of listening, reflection, growth and safety.
