About

I have experience working with people of all ages with a diverse range of backgrounds. I am excited to provide services to individuals, families, and couples dealing with stress, anxiety, substance use disorders, depression, life changes, and trauma among other issues. I have worked in a variety of human service positions for more than 14 years helping children, youth, and families. I approach counseling from a whole-person health perspective which focuses on everyone’s unique needs.
I have a zest for learning and earned a master’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2013 and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2017. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness theories. I have received training in hypnosis and family trauma treatment.
I believe the best way to support a therapeutic environment is to treat everyone as a unique person. I believe people have an amazing capacity to change and remove barriers to growth. My greatest joy is helping others discover their strengths, resiliency, authentic voice, and contentment.
