Do you notice that your child struggles to make and keep friends? Do you want them to better understand social situations and cues from others so that they can be successful and work towards their goals? Or perhaps you may have a desire for them to learn how to be in a group situation at school, ask for what they need or want or develop coping strategies for challenging situations? At S&BC, we focus on providing support and skill development at each client's level and meeting their unique needs. We carefully develop a plan so we teach our learners the skills to remove barriers that they have, as a result of their diagnosis.
Our goal is to build social competencies to help clients understand and navigate for themselves the social world we live in. Identifying behavioral skills to develop, will empower our learners to make the best choice and help them get closer to what is important to them. We want to help them meet their goals in friendship and in life.
At Social & Behavioral Connections, we believe in a family partnership and involve caregivers/parents/support people in the social behavioral coaching as much as possible. We also strive to connect with your school teams and other outside providers to ensure that the best plan is in place for our learner.
