For many people starting counseling can be a scary and intimidating task. My hope is to help ease you into finding ways to explore and enhance your own abilities and experiences, as well as uncover the obstacles or fears that can hold us back from uncovering our strengths and inner resources to managing life stressors and challenges. During our time together we will work to explore the strengths that help you thrive in your day-to-day experience. I use a holistic psychosomatic approach and hope to target areas to support and incorporate new strategies to improve overall health.
I am a bilingual, creative, and motivated counselor utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions to assist individuals to overcome obstacles and develop skills to enjoy a rewarding and fulfilling life. Training and experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, family conflict, eating disorders, sexual assault, health issues, aging, grief and loss.
