Hello and welcome! My name is Amey Davis, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Over time, I have had the honor of being a part of growth and healing with a variety of clients. While my licensure type might imply, I work solely with couples or families, I have a great deal of experience working with individual clients, as well. My hope is to provide a comfortable and compassionate environment that allows clients to explore and communicate their emotions in a way that will improve their life and their relationships.
Life is constantly changing and challenging us as we move through it. Our emotional regulation can impact our ability to manage these changes and developmental life challenges. I help clients through these times in an effort to grow and learn from the experience.
I seek to know and understand what every client is going through and work together to create a plan that reveals results. I would say my expertise lies in helping people understand their emotions in order to respond to them and communicate from them in a healthy way.
