Women Empowering Women Survivor Support Group

This group is focused on creating a safe, accepting space in which clients discuss and process domestic violence, sexual assault, and other traumatic experiences that have affected their sense of empowerment. This group integrates multi-media and traditional process therapy to support clients in learning about safety planning, community resources, self-advocacy, appropriate boundaries and healthy relationships. Clients learn specific techniques to help manage depression and anxiety, to cope with stress in healthy, effective ways, and to increase overall functionality, community involvement, and empowerment.
