I have been working in a private counseling setting since 2012. My counseling techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, humanistic counseling and interpersonal counseling approaches. These techniques are always tailored to the clients' individual needs. I have extensive experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, teenage stress and self-esteem issues, and individuals who have endured traumatic experiences, due to domestic violence or military service. I am trained in Neuro and Biofeedback to help student and professional athletes to improve their sports performance.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Bachelor Degrees from Rutgers University in Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Sociology, as well as a Master's Degree from Rutgers University in Clinical Social Work. I provide a client centered approach to therapy in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. I work with individuals of all ages who experience anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, substance use, and relationship difficulties. I have worked in crisis intervention, as well as outpatient psychiatric and mental health settings.

Kimberly Kirchofer is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey with 10 years of experience working with adults, couples, and families seeking help with anxiety, trauma, anger management, self esteem, depression, life transitions, family counseling, and relationship issues. Kimberly graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kean University. Kimberly utilizes a collaborative approach tapping into relational, strength based, solution focused, cognitive behavioral, emotional, holistic therapies always catering to each individual’s needs.
