In life, we are bound to come across challenges that can negatively impact our mental health. Life-changing events such as loss, separation, a new medical diagnosis, academic stress and many others, can leave us with feelings of hopelessness and stagnation. My approach focuses on examining your self-perception, views of others, and the world which are ultimately connected to your feelings (mental and physical) and behavior. You will learn critical skills in healthy coping, problem-solving and how to challenge unhelpful mindsets while creating more balanced ways of thinking and behaving in order to reach your therapy goals.
I have several years of experience in providing individual and group therapy in both English and Spanish for adults and older adults who have struggled with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, low self-esteem, ADHD, post-partum depression, and chronic/acute medical conditions, grief and other challenges.
Online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy and convenient. I am passionate about helping others through life's most difficult moments, to help them get "unstuck", and achieve better quality of life. I provide individual therapy to adults/ older adults online via a private video meeting room that is convenient and HIPAA compliant.
