The Arizona Psychology Clinic offers Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing Services for ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Gifted IQ, Twice Exceptional and Personality Issues. Additionally, testing for accommodations on Standardized Tests such as the SAT, ACT and GRE is also offered. Testing protocols for receiving accommodations within school and college settings are a focus of the practice as well.

I am a licensed psychologist at Arizona Neuropsychology Centers who specializes in neuropsychological, developmental, and psychoeducational evaluations. I’ve developed an extensive knowledge-base for evaluating neurodevelopmental disorders under the previous training of two well known neuropsychologists in the valley, Dr. John Mather and Dr. Paul Beljan. Our practice participates in developing accommodations and modifications needed to aid clients in maximizing their academic, occupational, and social functioning.

Rick became a trained and certified therapeutic foster (TFC/HCTC) parent in 2009. Rick is also a certified special education teacher working in the private sector. During this journey, Rick has experience working with children with ADHD, ADD, RAD, ODD, Autism (ASD), anxiety, depression, mood disorder, mild and severe intellectual disabilities, vision/hearing impaired, trauma, learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, and TBI.

Dr. Joseph Gentry obtained his doctoral degree from Illinois State University, with a specialization in consultation, assessment, and developmental disabilities. Dr. Gentry and his wife, Sarah, opened Gentry PBS in 2008 to provide a wide range of services to children in the Phoenix Metro area. Gentry Pediatric Behavioral Services is a multi-disciplinary private practice that brings psychologists, behavior analysts, and speech and language pathologists together. We are devoted to conducting *gold standard* diagnostic evaluations and providing comprehensive treatment options for children and families dealing with childhood struggles.

Dr. Tamara Zoch is a licensed psychologist in Arizona and Texas. She currently only provides neuropsychological assessment services (no therapy / counseling). She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (SCCAP). Dr. Zoch’s passion and specialty lie in pediatric psychology, evaluating children and adolescents with suspected neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and Specific Learning Disorder).

Disclaimer: We do not currently offer therapy services. Dr. Sara Frye is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She has practiced in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and schools. Her background is unique in that she is trained in both neuropsychology and school psychology. Thus, she can make medical diagnoses and educational recommendations. Evaluations focus on identifying neurocognitive strengths and weaknesses, as well as assessing behavioral and social-emotional functioning, to clarify diagnoses and make recommendations for supports.

Beljan Psychological Services (BPS) administers pediatric and adult neuropsychological evaluations to accurately determine diagnoses and direct interventions. Dr. Beljan co-wrote Misdiagnosis and Dual Diagnoses of Gifted Children and Adults. Dr. Beljan also co-wrote Large Scale Brain Systems and Neuropsychological Tests: An Effort to Move Forward, which will be published in October 2015. As a child psychologist and a parent (myself), I love working with families. I can appreciate the difficulties of parenting, but as I child psychologist I understand child-related difficulties as they apply to academics inside and out. I currently work part-time for a local school district so I am up-to-date with any school-related practices (e.g., distance learning, IEPs, 504s, etc.). I love being able to resolve child-related concerns via psychoeducational evaluations and providing parents with a "road map" so their child gets what they need to be most successful.

Through therapy, I help children understand their big emotions and how to navigate through emotional reactions in more helpful, positive ways. I enjoy working with children and teens on finding the best coping tools to make the challenges of growing up feel a bit more manageable. Dr. Carol McLean, Ph.D., has been in private practice since 2003. She specializes in development throughout the lifespan. Developmental & Educational Psychological Services provides high quality comprehensive assessments to identify numerous psychological and developmental conditions. I am a Licensed Psychologist who works with individuals, couples, and families. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. Positive reinforcement is one of the main strategies used in ABA.
