Greetings! I'm a dedicated professional specializing in comprehensive psychological evaluations for adolescents and their families facing challenging behavioral concerns. In navigating the complexities of adolescence, I focus on uncovering underlying factors contributing to behaviors often mistaken as typical. For parents, educators, and support networks, psychological evaluations provide invaluable insights! My approach emphasizes fostering connections with teens and families, offering a tailored strategy to address challenges that may not have found resolution elsewhere.

We provide supportive psychotherapy for patients with a serious illness or injury, who now live with chronic pain and impairment. It is not unusual to experience problems with stress, depression, and anxiety after a medical crisis, and to become isolated from the flow of life. You will be given an individual therapist to support you and help you learn about the specific skills, attitudes, and behaviors that help you slowly but steadily "push back" and regain quality of life.

Licensed since 1993 and in private practice since 1999. Previous work-related experience includes working at a residential treatment center, youth shelter, juvenile detention center, chemical dependency unit, adolescent and adult in-patient hospital, Employee Assistance Program, crisis intervention, in-take assessments, and intensive out-patient programming. Over the past two decades, I have served individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I am a certified and approved DOT Substance Abuse Professional.

I am a 20 year Army Veteran trained in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Individual counseling techniques. I understand the unique stresses of military life. I have worked with military families both while in the Army and since. I use the Gottman Method for couples counseling. Gottman is considered the gold standard in Couples Counseling, it is one of the best researched therapies with one of the highest success rates.
